I'm not one of those doom and gloom folks that think that every new army that comes out is "broken".
I will point out however those new rules for Minotaurs in the Beastmen book are sick: S5; additional hand weapon or great weapon, boodgreed. Now I haven't faced off against them in years but wow.
Make you check out this months WD and see what they did to a unit of Grail Knights...

They'll be pretty great units and proxying units into minotaurs is a plausable option. Minotaurs were not as flashy a choice in the last book, but now they are the only monster of their type. I welcome the other special choices like razorgor, it's nice to see monster packs make a comeback.
ReplyDeleteHrm... if a fantasy apocalypse book ever comes out, Beastmen will be able to attack with waves of giants and their ugly cousins. That will be a crazy day!
